To celebrate Le French May, PARKVIEW ART Hong Kong will exhibit four significant French Artists of Modern and Contemporary Art after World War II.

Fernandez Arman, the main practitioner of Nouveau Realisme (New Realism) possessed a distinctive style. He had the courage and aesthetic vision to give artistic dignity to everyday objects, pushing the boundaries of art by utilizing debris and organic waste as medium. Alongside Arman, the exhibition also include works by Daniel Spoerri and Jacques Mahè de la Villeglé, who are part of the Nouveau Realisme movement. Bernard Aubertin will also be featured, as he conducted his own artistic research, thanks to the influence of one of the founding members of Nouveau Realisme, Yves Klein.

The four artists are witnesses of the complex and fascinating era of 1960s, which gave rise to their special artistic expressions.
